Charles Wright & Sons Ltd Agricultural Merchants & Contractors

Charles Wright and Sons Ltd are a family run agricultural merchant and contractor based in Old Leake near Boston specialising in fertiliser, grain, lime and sugar beet lifting & haulage covering Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas.

The seven Lorries we have are used for Sugar Beet haulage during the winter months which run alongside our sugar beet harvester and the fertiliser and the lime spreading side of the business. We operate our own lorries and trailers including tippers, curtain siders and tankers which enables us to offer an efficient and hands on transport operation.

Fertiliser can be supplied and delivered as well as applied in either liquid or granular. We can also supply and apply lime including British Sugar Limex and Woldlime.  Our spreaders are geared to vari-rate application so there’s a variety of options to suit individual farmer’s needs.

In recent years the contracting side of the business has become more relevant including being able to offer all various formats of fertiliser and lime applications also we can offer a full range of arable operations including sugar beet harvesting, combining, wheat and sugar beet drilling and various land cultivations. We operate our own fertiliser spreaders and sprayers enabling us to supply and apply all fertilisers and limes.

We have very dedicated staff across the whole business and we feel that Charles Wright and Sons can offer a professional and personal service for all of our customers. The business is TASCC (Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops) and FIAS (Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme) registered, therefore meeting all legal and industry requirements.
